Overall: (see rating details) this is an exalant piece of technoligy. it never wares out. i usuly will use this sitting on my chair and all my other cables would stop working from rubbing aginst the chair but with the 90 degree angle this wont stop working. i totly guarantee this to not stop working.

I have a question on cables. I need a pair of 23' biwire cables to connect my Aerial LR5's to a Theta Dreadnaught amp. I have the opportunity to purchase a set of Monster Cables 2.4s biwire cable for about 60% off list, for a total of around $550. The Bettercables in a similar length is around 1/2 this cost. Is the Monster 2.4s a much better cable?
All my cables are GC or similar stuff. Most are 10+ years old. I don't walk on them and I do my best not to put strain on them at an angle. IMO (and this has been discussed up to and adjacent to a holy war) Monster's products are 20% value by being the same quality as other products, and 80% value as propaganda to charge higher prices. Monster cables are not worth their price. I've experimented with a few different brands of cables and i've heard quite a difference. Most of my cables are DH Labs, which is a respected budget higher-end cable. AR makes some very good budget cables and they're not anywhere near as expensive as Monster. May 29, 2006. Palm Coast, FL. Columbus, Ohio. Just curious. I ran into a pair and thinking of making an offer. Authentic with authorized dealer receipt with hard case and extra plugs. Spades are currently installed. I'm going to build a second all vintage system where looks will play a role and these cables look the part. Ebay has them as high as $900.
