I e-mailed Humax support and described your problem. Here is the reply: Humax Customer Support ยป I'm sorry to hear that you're having some difficulties with the OTA update currently being broadcast. I think the best thing you can do is to simply re-install the previous version of software.
Here are a set of rules that apply to EPG update :- The Humax does not update the EPG when it wakes at 4:30am to look for OTAs; The Humax does not update the EPG in Standby; The Humax does not update the EPG while it is recording; The Humax does not update the EPG prior to recording in Padding Mode
