The central locking works fine when using the buttons on the dash (both lock and unlock functions), but the remote fob just has a mind of it's own. Feb 3, 2013. #3. as above you need the electronic 5 digit code only available from fiat to re-set remotes or to add second hand/new remote can be done if you get registerd version of the multiscan software and cable and also can be done by fiat but either way you will need to pay to get the electronic code needed from fiat. It's possible that one of the cable ends from the unlock solenoid has popped out of its recess. Probably at the end by the handle on the inside of the door. t36XA.
